The Death Trap of Guilt

What if we told you that some of our best client transformations happened when the client was training no more than 2-3x a week?

What if we told you that the same clients with these incredible transformations didn’t have to throw their favorite treats into the ocean and swear off carbohydrates forever to get there?

What if we said they owned businesses and had multiple kids?

You would automatically think they were super humans and/or we were liars, right?

In some ways they are super human, but in most ways they are exactly like you with one major difference.

They found a game plan that helped them completely eliminate the guilt of “I’m not doing enough” from their mindset.

Thats the magic secret that no one is telling you and we have it.

Tell me if this sounds familiar:

Let’s say you want to lose 10 lbs and you are absolutely ready to rock.

In order to capitalize on your motivation, you join a gym, and pick a diet plan.

You are all in so you are going to go 6x a week and your diet is a 1200 calorie diet.

Week 1 passes and you’re absolutely crushing it!

Carbohydrates? Never heard of em.

Missing sessions? Ha. You’re basically Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson now.

Week 2 rolls around and right on time you get sick… which means one of your kids is sick, and you’re just late to the surprise party to find out.

Alarms are going off in your head, because without fail, if you and your daughter get sick you know your son will get sick next.

And to add a cherry + whip cream to the top of this Chick Fil A milkshake (of which Oreo is the only acceptable option and you can email me at Billy@landinghp.com to tell me you’re wrong if you think otherwise), you have a major project deadline for work in 10 days.

All of the sudden Keto gets infinitely harder and honestly you can’t tell if your body is sore from the sickness or the 6 days of training you did last week, but either way you can barely move.

Fast forward 2.5 weeks and everyone is happy and healthy again and you’re going back to train, but you feel like you have to start over again, and its only week 2 of your program/diet.

You’re feeling pretty defeated… but, you push on.

You make it 4 times that week, 3 times the following week, go on vacation the next week and 6 months later you have been paying for a gym membership you haven’t used since that vacation.

The year ends and you are at a dinner party and you compliment a friend you haven’t seen in a few months on her weightloss.

You almost didn’t recognize her at first.

She says “Thanks! That means a lot! I just found something that works for me and trained 2-3x a week for the entire year. I thought about quitting so many times but am so glad I didn’t.”

And the cycle of guilt in your head begins.

“2x a week?! There is absolutely zero way they got THAT result ONLY training 2-3x per week… right?”

Well, your friend learned something incredibly important during their year of training.

Your friend learned about how consistency has a compounding effect and then stacked their efforts to the ceiling in the last 12 months.

Here’s the magic formula that we have found works incredibly well at Landing HP:

Step 1 – Pick a plan you can do on your worst week. Key words ➡️ WORST WEEK.

Step 2 – Have a team that helps you stop from jumping too far forward or feeling like a failure if you have to do a single session one week.

Step 3 – Progressively make this program more challenging as you go but maintain consistency for the entire calendar year.

Done.

Instead of going all out for the first month, we focus on setting you up to crush it in the final quarter of your 12 month training plan.

Instead of “I missed a session. I suck!”… we focus on opening up your week so you have plenty of time to make it up.

Instead of feeling like you can’t stick with your diet on your vacation, we focus on picking options you can do if your Instagram travel channel takes off and you won’t be home for 8 months.

By choosing options that we know we can do successfully, we eliminate guilt… and by having a support system that guides you along the way, you avoid the conversations that happen in your head that say you aren’t doing enough.

If this is something you have struggled with then stay tuned.

In the next few days we will be announcing a program that will help you ELIMINATE this issue and make this year an unforgettable year no matter what your goal is.
