Group Training Cyle One: What You Need To Know…

Cycle 1 of 2025 is here and we couldn’t be more excited!

In this article we want to give you an overview of the training cycle and what you can expect to see when you step into our facility in the month of January.

Overall Focus

The focus for cycle 1 is to build foundational strength, increase cardiovascular health and make sure we are becoming more capable humans every day.

To us, this is our most important cycle of the entire year as this will lay the foundation for every other training cycle we have.

Our next training cycle (February) will be focused strength and lifting heavier each week.

This cycle will allow us to be ready for that and able to attack it on week 1.

Daily Focus

For this training cycle we will be using a very wide variety of training styles and exercises to make sure we are well rounded going into our next training cycle.

Below is a weekly breakdown of how each day will be laid out but if you have any questions make sure to ask your coach when you take your next class.

Monday

  • Back Squat + Pull Exercise and Single Leg Exercise + Core Exercises

Tuesday

  • Push Exercise and Hinge Exercise + Conditioning + Push Exercise and Squat Exercise

Wednesday

  • 25-40 Minute Aerobic Conditioning + Bodybuilding

Thursday

  • Single Leg Exercise and Pull Exercise + Core Exercise + Hinge Exercise and Shoulder Exercise

Friday

  • Bench Press + Conditioning + Pull Exercise and Core Exercise

Saturday

  • 25-40 Minute Aerobic Conditioning + Bodybuilding

5 Ways to Maximize Cycle 1

  • Schedule a consultation with one of our assessment staff to make sure you are maximizing your training.
  • Focus on prioritizing the best possible sleep and nutrition you can.
  • Find the best days for you to train and stay consistent on those every week. Make consistency a priority.
  • Make sure to track your results every day when you train. Using Wodify will allow you to make sure you are improving week by week.
  • Plan to build for a year and not a month. Having a vision for your year will do incredible things for you.
